Visornets’ safety nets are recyclable
At Visornets, we are dedicated to leading the charge in environmental protection. We understand the significance of responsibly managing resources and minimizing emissions and waste. That’s why we’ve chosen to actively engage in the Meltex Project, which focuses on repurposing thermoplastic textile waste into recycled materials. By doing so, we’re firsthand verifying the recyclability of our safety nets.
Our involvement in the project includes providing waste from our polypropylene safety nets. This contribution has enabled us to conduct tests and confirm the viability of recycling these materials, thus advancing the cause of a circular and sustainable economy.
The recycling process begins with shredding our nets’ post-industrial waste, followed by pelletization to create recycled polypropylene pellets. Studies conducted as part of the Meltex Project have shown that these recycled pellets are suitable for further processing into fibers, opening up new avenues in the recycled materials industry.
The successful validation of Visornets’ safety nets’ recyclability underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship. This accomplishment strengthens our resolve to innovate and support sustainable development.
At Visornets, we’re committed to finding innovative solutions to reduce our environmental impact and uphold responsible business practices. Our participation in the Meltex Project marks just the beginning of our journey towards a more sustainable and eco-conscious future.
